Madyson in Pink and Black

Hello everyone,

Sometimes I am so blessed with wonderful things that happens to me and one of these moments was to be selected as the September Guest Designer for The Stamping Boutique! What a privilege and chance to showcase my cards on The Stamping Boutique Challenge blog . As I am a newbie to digi stamps I couldn’t believe my eyes when my card was chosen randomly from the July entries for the Guest Designer spot. And what a wonderful prize – five digi stamps of my choice from The Stamping Boutique’s beautiful images. I can tell you that was a very difficult choice to make. You can view my profile and two of my Guest Designer cards here. There will be more during the rest of the month.

Julie told me today about a new weekly card challenge launched at Scrapbook Sisters Challenge blog . The theme for their first challenge is to make a card with their signature colours, Pink and Black. The prize is a lovely bundle of blog candy. The Design Team also made some lovely cards for inspiration – you will miss out if you do not hop over there! Thanks so much, Julie, for visiting my blog from The Stamping Boutique challenge blog link and the info on the new challenge.

I am entering one of my cards for the following challenges:

Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge  – Pink and Black

Craft your Passion Challenges Colour Challenge # 21 –  Pink and Black

I used the following to create the card:

  • TSB digi stamp “Madyson”
  • Black and white dotted scrapbook paper
  • Striped scrapbook paper
  • White, black and pink cardstock
  • Pink gemstones
  • Silver thread
  • Derwent Coloursoft colour pencils
  • Odourless mineral spirits
  • Stickles “Silver”

Happy crafting,
