Lantern Charm

Hello dear friends,

No, no, this is not a bird-cage again, but a lantern image from an Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set. With the cold front sweeping through South Africa this week I rather feel like making cards with heaters, fireplaces or any thing that can produce more warmth than a lantern. Anyway,  I love the images from this stamp set as it will also look beautiful on Christmas cards – will give it a try this year om my Christmas cards. My card was inspired by the challenge at The Play Date Cafe this week. The colour challenge is to create a card with black and white with just one colour of your choice and just a splash.  You can see the inspiration photo here. I used my new Martha Stewart punch ‘Ironworks’ as this punch compliments the silhouette image of the lantern beautifully.
