Reappearance

Hello everyone,

Stamps R Us challenge this week is ‘Encore presentations’.  Wow, how easy is that: all you have to do is to re post one of your favorite cards using any stamp or digital image, tell the design team of Stamps R Us a little about the card and link it to the challenge. But remember it must be a new post,  no back linking to the old post allowed.

I chose one of my cards I created last year October for an autumn themed challenge. There is quite a few reasons why I chose this card. Firstly it is a Penny Black image, my favourite stamps, and I love to work with autumn colours. For this card I mixed two Lyra-Rembrandt Aquarelle watercolours to get the terracotta colour of the garden pots. Since then I could not manage to achieve this result again. Instead of roses and vintage seam binding usually featured on my cards, I used oak autumn leaves and thin gold cord as embellishments.
