Sweet Talk

Hello dear blog friends,

I am a little late with my weekly blog post this week. My card  was supposed to be posted on Sunday but unfortunately an old knee injury began to give me problems and I ended up with sick leave, bed rest and lots of medication. Hopefully the knee will be sorted out pretty soon. Well, to my delight I received my new Penny Black stamps last week and what a stamping feast to work with all the adorable images. It is always such fun to think of ideas how to embellish the card so that the image comes to its full potential. For this card I used “Sweet talk” and although it is not a Valentine stamp I tried to create a feeling of love with the roses and hearts. I fell in love with the unusual colour of the paper roses when I saw them in the stationery shop and I was so surprised when I got home and it blends perfectly with my new Prima paper pack “Romantique”. That vintage paper pack is so lovely. It makes my day when things come together!
