Hello friends,
I appreciate it so much that you come visiting today, it is such a blessing that people still make time to visit my blog. My card today is in the shabby chic style inspired by the challenge photo at The Shabby Tea Room Challenge blog. Usually I don’t use so many colours together, so this was quite a challenge for me. The Cottage Cutz die “Carousel Silhouette” and colour combination just fits perfectly together to create a cheerful carnival atmosphere on this card. I can still remember how I enjoyed myself on the merry-go-round horses when I was a child. Such great fun to go up and down and round and around while Mum and Dad watching from the side.

This sure brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. We had an amusement park called Lake Contrary that closed in 1964 Oh what fun I had on the carousel with all the beautiful colors of the horses. They even had real horse hair for their tales and manes. There were rides, boating, a dance hall, horse race track and huge arbor. Was so sad to see it destroyed by floods and wind damages. Thank you for helping relive some wonderful memories with this gorgeous creation. Have a wonderful weekend! “Hugs”
