For Mom, With Love

Hello blog friends,

Today’s post features my guest designer card for the fairly new and proudly South African challenge blog, Scrap Africa. I was so surprised and overwhelmed with joy when Evgenia and Svetlana, owners of the challenge blog, asked me to do a project for the Mother’s Day challenge. I am  admiring their amazing work for so long and what a privilege to showcase one of my cards along with their stunning creations. The challenge is:  “In May we celebrate Mother’s Day so let’s celebrate this special day on Scrap Africa with our love and creativity. Create any scrap object that is in some way related to a mother. There is a catch though. In your project you will need to use a phrase, a poem  or a special message dedicated to a mother – be it yourself or your own mother or anyone else you would want to say something nice about as a mother.” This is an international challenge blog so hop over to Scrap Africa and play along – there are fantastic prizes to be won. For my card I used the beautiful poem of Pat O’Reilly “A Wonderful Mother” as the focus point.
