Hello friends,
Hope you are well and thanks for visiting. I have a vintage/shabby card to share with you today. I used some of my new craft purchases I made from a recent craft show that was held in Kempton park. The tiny leaves, I so much love to use on my cards, were punched with my new Olba multipunch. I am really glad that I invested in one of these punches and I think this was the spark for my mojo again! The tag was cut with a new Sizzix Framelits die and the background paper embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder “Wicker Weave” . The lovely vintage image is from the Clearly Vintage blog and it is always a difficult decision to choose an image from Cora’s beautiful collection. I created the card with a few challenges in mind, so here is my list.
Challenges:
- Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge #18 (ends 07/07) – Vintage Children
- Papercraft Star Friday’s Anniversary Challenge with Jinny (ends 07/09) – No Design Paper
- Frilly and Funkie Challenge (ends 07/10) – Let’s see some Texture
- Stampin’ Sisters in Christ Challenge #146 (ends 07/08) – Use Something New (New Olba punch, Sizzix Framelits tag die and Cuttlebug embossing folder)
- Ruby’s Rainbow Challenge #32 (ends 07/18) – Emboss It
A close-up of the image from the Clearly Vintage blog
A peep at the inside with an embossed border and butterflies
- White, pink and green cardstock
- Vintage image from Clearly Vintage
- Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp
- Paper doily
- Sizzix Framelits die “Fancy tags” (657911)
- Cuttlebug embossing folder “Wicker Weave”
- Olba flower-multipunch
- Martha Stewart punch “Classic Butterfly”
- Pearls
- Lace
- Pearl heart
- Paper roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
- Hug Snug seam binding “Paradise Aqua”
- Tim Holtz distress inks “Victorian velvet” and “Vintage photo”
- Skwiglues glitter “Crystal”
Thanks so much for looking at my card and I would love to read what you think about it. Have a wonderful day and happy crafting.

Hi Sharon,
I use a Zutter distress-it-all tool. I bought mine from Scrap-a-Doodles and really love the way it distress the edges.
