Let’s Drink Some Tea

Hello friends,

Hope you are well and thanks for visiting. I have a vintage/shabby card to share with you today. I used some of my new craft purchases I made from a recent craft show that was held in Kempton park. The tiny leaves,  I so much love to use on my cards, were punched with my new Olba multipunch. I am really glad that I invested in one of these punches and I think this was the spark for my mojo again! The tag was cut with a new Sizzix Framelits die and the background paper embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder “Wicker Weave” . The lovely vintage image is from the Clearly Vintage blog and it is always a difficult decision to choose an image from Cora’s beautiful collection. I created the card with a few challenges in mind, so here is my list.

Challenges:

A close-up of the image from the Clearly Vintage blog

A peep at the inside  with an embossed border and butterflies

Project details:

  • White, pink and green cardstock
  • Vintage image from Clearly Vintage
  • Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp
  • Paper doily
  • Sizzix Framelits die “Fancy tags”  (657911)
  • Cuttlebug embossing folder “Wicker Weave”
  • Olba flower-multipunch
  • Martha Stewart punch “Classic Butterfly”
  • Pearls
  • Lace
  • Pearl heart
  • Paper roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
  • Hug Snug seam binding “Paradise Aqua”
  • Tim Holtz distress inks “Victorian velvet” and “Vintage photo”
  • Skwiglues glitter “Crystal”

Thanks so much for looking at my card and I would love to read what you think about it. Have a  wonderful day and happy crafting.

Regards from South Africa,

Amelia
