You Are Special

Hello blog friends,

I am back from a short break in the countryside. It was so wonderful  to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and recharge one’s batteries for the last three months of this year. We took the dogs with us  to Stone Hill, a pet-friendly venue and had such a great time with our furry friends. The veld is still very dry but the tranquility and beautiful sunsets made up for the lack of greenery. I uploaded photos of our holiday in my Flickr gallery if you want to see this beautiful place.

I have a guest designer card to share today. I was so surprised to win the guest designer spot at The Penny Black and More Challenge blog for October. Thanks Brenda and the Design Team for this wonderful opportunity. I used one of my older, but a favourite Penny Black stamp, and kept the design quite simple. Instead of flowers I opted for buttons as embellishments. Well, I think I am learning slowly to make CAS cards, although the white spaces are still missing! The patterned papers are from Prima “Sun Kiss” paper pad.
