Flowered Hat

Hello dear blog friends,

This week at Sugar Creek Hollow we are playing with fashion. Your vintage or shabby chic cards or other paper-crafted projects must include at least one of the following items –  vintage hats, shoes or purses. The super talented Brenda Brown is the guest designer this week and you can see her beautiful work here. I always admire the beautiful, dressed up hats of the eras gone by, although I am glad I didn’t have to wear it. For my card I found this pretty lady at Back Porch Graphics kindly uploaded by Polly as a freebie for us to use. I love the summery feel of her flowered hat and decided to choose a pink gingham paper to match this delightful image. I also played with my sentiment stamps and combined a Kanban and Whimsy stamp for the birthday greeting. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
