You Are A Classic

Hello friends,

dpbadge2013Two weeks just fly and we have a new challenge for you at Sugar Creek Hollow this Saturday. The theme is Things with Wheels and your card or project must be in the shabby or vintage style. Come share your talents with us. Doodle Pantry Digital Doodles is the sponsor for this challenge and my image “Vintage Auto” is kindly sponsored by Laurie. For my background I used a vintage photo tag from The Vintage Suitcase and FabScraps designer paper. The image is colored with water-color pencils and framed in two oval die cuts. I cut the pennants from burlap and attached them to a piece of rope. A few buttons are added and the card is done –  so quick to make!

I entered my card in the following challenges:

  • Buttons

Thanks for visiting today. Remember to stop over at Sugar Creek Hollow to see the beautiful creations of the Sugar Creek Hollow Design Team. We would love to see your card or projects and maybe you could be the winner of Doodle Pantry images.

Have a wonderful day and happy crafting.

Regards from South Africa,

Amelia

Amelia, each one of your creations is intriguing and interesting – beyond just “pretty” or “beautiful” – LOVE the die cut burlap, the pretty shading in the antique car, and the perfectly matched photo paper in the background. The distressed edges and buttons are very reminiscent of the time period in your photos. A truly wonderful card, Amelia – so pretty, but such a great piece of art for a man. hugs, de
