Hello blog friends,
A colleague asked me to make a birthday card for the organist of their church. The requirements: the card must be for a male and definitely with a musical theme. Not good at making male cards I decided to keep it as simple as possible but still with a vintage feel. I used a sheet music image from The Graphics Fairy embellished with a G clef chipboard as my main focus point of the card. The postage sentiment from Whimsy stamps with the Victorian couple fits the musical theme so well and I just had to add it. The crown is cut from another sheet music cover from The Graphics Fairy. A few black pearls brings the crown to life and I popped it on mirror tape for dimension on the card. My favorite paper roses have to step back for three autumn leaves on this card. Hope you like this “minimalistic” creation!
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:
- Craft Your Passion Challenge #181 (ends 09/30) – No Coloured In Images

Hi, Amelia, dit is nou regtig mooi , hoor!! Ek is absoluut mal oor musiek so jou kaartjie spreek my hart aan!!

This is so pretty. I love the vintage/rustic look it has and the leaves add just enough of a pop of color to keep it interesting. Wonderful job. Thanks for sharing at Craft Your Passion!
