Hello blog friends,
Glad to be back today to show my card for the new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow. This challenge is all about Easter and the design team will love to see what you come up with this fortnight. Your project can be a card or other paper crafting item, such as a scrapbook layout, box, tag, etc. but must be made in a vintage or shabby chic style. We are also lucky to have a very talented guest designer Nicola joining us this time. To see more of here stunning work visit her blog Paper Profusion.
For my card I used a vintage image from Bumble Button, one of my favorite blogs for antique and vintage graphics. I printed a few images and fussy cut the flowers and bird nest to do the layering and compilation with the Poppystamps grand gothic window. To my surprise the little Forget-me-nots from Petaloo just fits perfectly with the printed flowers for added dimension. The chipboard doves were painted with Tim Holtz crackled paint and a bit of glitter glue added a lovely touch to their wings. The sentiment is from JustRite stamps.

Hi, Amelia!!
Daar’s so baie diepte in die kaartjie. So ‘n heerlik rustige prentjie!! Baie mooi!
