A Vintage Journey

Hello blog friends,

There is a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow today and just perfect for the holiday time. The theme is “On the Road’ and you can submit any vintage or shabby chic travel themed card or other paper craft project. Please make sure any focal image you use is vintage. The Sugar Creek Hollow design team created beautiful cards for inspiration  and we would love to see your creations this fortnight.

I never visited France but that is for sure on my bucket list. To keep my dream alive I chose a silhouette image of the beautiful Eiffel Tower with two ephemera cards of Paris as background. I added two chipboard swallows because these lovely little birds travel each year, long distances  to countries far away – they are for me world travellers in their own way! The designer paper is from Graphic45. As it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere I used a green leaf border at the top of the card for more color. The sentiment is framed in a gold bottle cap. The flowers are from KaiserCraft.

Pragtig en vir my so eg Parys!!!!
