Hello friends,
I have some exciting news to share today – I have the privilege to be a guest at Christine Emberson’s blog Hope & Chances Creativity. Christine is the International Ambassador for Spellbinders in the United Kingdom. Last year Christine contacted me and asked if I am willing to create a card for her blog to show how Spellbinders dies are used around the world. Who will ever say no to such an invitation? She send me two stunning Spellbinders die sets and I created 5 cards for her blog. Please visit Hope & Chances Creativity to read Christine’s view about the cards and also to see her creativity with Spellbinders dies. It is amazing to see her wonderful creations and tips on how to use these dies. I created five separate blog posts to show the cards and this will be posted during today.
My first card is a Valentine’s card created with the Spellbinders die set ‘Flutter Love’. The “heart window” in the top layer was cut with a Spellbinders D’Lites die “Vines of Passion” to frame the lovely heart shape. I added some pearls around the edge for a vintage look. The lace stamp is from Stampendous and the sentiment stamp from Penny Black. The designer papers are from Prima “Stationer’s Desk”
I would like to enter the card in the following challenges:
- Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenges #132 (ends 02/19) – It’s All About Love
- Creative Knockouts Challenge #75 (ends 02/12) – Hearts A Flutter (include a heart on your card)
- Crafting For All Seasons Challenge #95 (ends 02/18) – Have a Heart
- Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenge #245 (ends 02/11) – Hearts and/or Flowers
