Hello friends,
I have two clean and simple cards to share with you today. A few weeks ago I bought my first Elizabeth Crafts dies and embossing folder from a local craft shop and what fun I had to play with these dies. I used the dies with some of my older Spellbinders dies and really like the outcome of this quick cards with a spring feel. It was ages since I last used an embossed background and doing so with these cards inspired me to take my forgotten stuff out of the cupboard and use them again.
I would like to enter my first card in the following challenges:
- Little Red Wagon Challenge #279 (ends 03/11) – Birds of a Feather
- Allsorts Challenge Week #301 (ends 03/13) – Spring is in the Air
- Scrapy Land Challenges #13 (ends 03/15) – Anything Goes using any brand of die Scrapy Land sells ( I used Elizabeth Craft Designs dies: 709 – Birds ; 724 – Best Wishes ; 722 – Hello ; Spellbinders Shapeabilities Die D-Lites “Sprigs” and Spellbinders Nestabilities “Standard Circles Small”)
- Creative Corner Challenges (ends 03/13) – Nature Inspired

This is so pretty and I’m in love with the embossed background pattern, it goes so perfectly with your design. And your little birdie is so sweet. Really love the design of your card and it was the black circles that caught my eye, fantastic idea. So glad you joined us at TIME OUT!!

Pragtig, Amelia!!!! Daai klein voeltjie is so mooi en ek’s mal oor die skattige knopies en rosies wat jy gebruik het om jou kaartjies daai iets ekstra te gee wat dit laat uitstaan!!!! Die embossing is pragtig!!! Baie mooi gedoen!!!
Groete en geniet die week!!!
