Beautiful Friend

Hello friends,

I hope you are having a lovely holiday season so far. My card today is a little bit different – a CAS kraft card with a homespun “feeling”. I followed the definition of “homespun” on the Less is More challenge blog to create this unsophisticated, plain and natural card with a Penny Black stamp.  I embossed the mannequin and sentiment with white embossing powder and did the coloring with my Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. I hope you like today’s creation.

Challenges:

PennyBlack

Project details:

  • Kraft cardstock
  • Penny Black stamp set “Lace Delight” (30-115)
  • Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils for coloring
  • White embossing powder
  • Twine

That’s it for today! Take care and have a great day.

Regards,

Amelia

I’m sorry that I’m so late in commenting but having various visitors over the holiday period made me rather behind!
This is fabulous for our challenge and the colours are delightful!
    Thanks so much

A crisp, elegant and vibrant take on our homespun challenge. Love the inktense pencils on the kraft card and that base just adds to the homespun look.
Thanks so much for playing along and a Happy New Year to you.

These colours look great on kraft, I wouldn’t think to use Inktense on kraft but they are so vibrant, I must remember this idea! Perfect card for our challenge.
    Thanks for sharing with us.

Cute! I am a kraft addict, so you had me the moment you made that design decision. Very nicely crafted..
