Pink Hearts

Hello everyone,

Valentine’s day is just around the corner and with that in mind we have a new challenge at Double D Challenges . To celebrate this day of love our theme is “Pretty Pink Hearts” and we want to see lots of pink and hearts on your creations. The inspiration board is at the bottom of my post.

As the challenge requires pink, I always love to make it in the shabby style. I used Spellbinders die cut hearts and little gemstone hearts layered on a shabby background paper. For a bit of extra shabbiness I stamped some flourishes on the background with TH distress ink. To finish off I added pretty flowers in different shades of pink, white wax cord bows and lace for embellishments. The sentiment is cut with a Spellbinders die D’Lites “Sentiments Three”.
