Harvest Blessings

Hello friends,

Greeting you from a very hot summers day in South Africa, We are midst a heat wave with temperatures rising during daytime to 38 degree ca-dd-nov-insp2-tileCelsius. I think the best place to be is in the swimming pool or in front of an air cooler. But despite the heat I am excited to share my card with you for the new challenge over at Double D Challenges today. The theme of the challenge is “Harvest Blessings and Give Thanks”.

I was inspired by the acorns and leaves as well as the colors in the picture. The pretty background paper on my card is from Lilac and Lavender and although you can’t see much of it I love the colors and letters popping through the die cut leaves. For dimension on the card I added layers of autumn colored and green  leaves. For embellishments I used some copper acorns and gold pearls and finished of with a wax cord bow. Hope you like today’s card

Challenges:
