A Sprinkle of Glitter

Hello friends,

Hope you are all well and enjoying your day. September is the start of spring time in South Africa and we got warm weather since last week. Looking at the high temperatures already, it is going to be a warm summer for us. It is also time for a new challenge at Double “D” Challenges. The theme for the new challenge is “Glitter” –  and lots of it! Hope you will share your “glittery” creation with us at the Double “D” Challenge this fortnight.

For my background I used a designer paper from an old First edition paper pad “Spring Feast” which already have a glitter effect. I tried to used some of the colors in the mood board like green, shades of pink and black in my design. I also dusted the frame for the cats with fairy dust and added glitter glue to the flower centers. I finished off with paper flowers, a wax cord bow and a heart charm. Well, I think there was more glitter on my face as on the card when everything was done and dusted!
