Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog . Team Darlene is hosting this challenge with the lovely theme of “LEAVE it to me!”. Looking at the beautiful inspiration picture I decided to join in the fun. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile.

I love to make cards with autumn colors and was inspired by the beautiful leaves as well as the colors in the picture.  I used script designer paper for my background and to give the idea of movement I also cut some swirls into the background paper. The leaves are colored with distress inks which is the adhered with mirror tape for dimension. To finish off I added a wax cord bow, some black pearls and a swirly sentiment.
