Sending Hugs …

Hello friends,

I hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is about the new challenge at Double D Challenges with the theme “Feeling FALLish”. For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog. Looking forward to see your card!

My inspiration for the challenge was the lovely warm Fall colors, leaves and the wood grain frame in the picture.  I used kraft paper for my base card and then layered several die cut leaves on a wood grain designer paper. I used my Prime watercolors to create the lovely shades of yellow, orange and brown for the leaves. I finished of with a die cut sentiment which is a combo of 2 different die sets and a few gem stones. This was such an easy card to make and I love the warm and shabby feel of it.

Challenges I entered:

The sentiment

A close-up of the leaves

A peep at the inside

Project details

Kraft card-stock — Wood grain design paper — Poppystamps die “Freida Leaf” (No 1360) — Poppystamps die ‘Sending Script” (No. 1621) — Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Thinlits die “Garden Greens” (661206) — BoBunny Craft dies “Lovely Leaf dies” (Item #12839177) — Crealies text dies “Hugs and Kisses” (CLTD 106) — Prime watercolors — Tim Holtz distress inks “Vintage photo” — Gemstones

That’s it from me today! I hope you like my card. If you do, please leave a comment – I love reading them. Have a wonderful day and happy crafting.

Regards,

Amelia

Beautiful design. I love how you used the smaller leaves for the large leaf focal image. the sentiment in two different fonts is really eye catching.
