Hello friends,
It is time for a new challenge at Double “D” Challenges. The theme is “Sequins” and the more the better. I am looking forward to see your “sparkly” creations at the Double “D” Challenge this fortnight.
For my base layer I used designer paper from Raspberry Road Designs – I so much love this color. I added a trellis die cut at the top of the card as background for the floral spray of pink and burgundy roses and bow. The elegant lady is positioned underneath the “shower” of flowers and pink and green sequins. I finished of with a little rose on her dress and a fancy script sentiment.
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- Scrapy Land Challenges #83 (ends 02/21) – Anything Goes with a die cut from a brand that Scrapy Land sells. (Dies: Spellbinders Shapeabilities “Fancy Lattice” (S5-152) — Poppystamps die “Freida Leaf” (No. 1360) — Impression Obsession sentiment die “For You” (DIE383-C))
- Eclectic Ellapu February Challenge (ends 02/28) – Anything Goes
- Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #204 (02/09) – Fussy and Fancy
- 613 Avenue Create Challenge #206 (ends 02/28) – Anything Goes
- IAR January Challenge (I Am Roses) (ends 02/08) – Anything Goes with 3 IAR products (Products used: ZR3-121 – Solid Dusty Pink Wedding Craft Paper Flowers ; ZR4-833 – Mixed Burgundy Paper Flowers and T30-2 – Soft Pink Semi Open Rose Buds)
- Let’s Craft and Create Challenge #134 (ends 02/28) – Anything Goes + option Mother’s Day / Mothers

Sigh… every card you make could be used as home decor. I can picture this nestled among a little vignette of ladies trappings under a boudoir lamp. So beautiful, Amelia!
