Hello friends,
Time for a new challenge at Double D Challenges. I am joining Team Darlene for this challenge with the theme “Moon and/or Stars”. I love the blue colors and twinkling stars from the mood board and used that as inspiration for my card. Please visit the Double D Challenge blog and see more wonderful samples from Double “D”s talented designers and join in the fun!
I decided on an image from the Graphic 45 series ”Secret Garden” for my background. I die cut two stars, added fairy glitter and layered it with mirror tape on the base card for dimension. I finished off with bows, paper roses, more gemstone stars and a sentiment. This was a quick and easy shabby card to make. I hope the recipient will love it!
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- Crafter’s Castle Challenge #8 (ends 08/31) – Anything Goes with Option Elegant / Shabby Chic
- Crafty Friends Challenge #90 (ends 08/25) – Anything Goes
- Cut It Up Challenges #154 (ends 08/ 22) – Your Favorite Color (Pink and Blue)
- Let’s Craft and Create Challenge #140 (ends 08/31) – Anything Goes + Option Lots of Layers
- Craftaholics R Us Challenge #33 (ends 08/22) – Anything Goes
- Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #172 (ends 08/28) – Add Ribbon and/or Bow
- Dies R Us Challenge #103 (ends 08/28) – You are a STAR (Dies: Die-namics die ” Star Stax” — Spellbinders Designer series “Decorative Swallowtail Tags” (S5-258))
The twinkling stars
The roses and bow
The sentiment
