Snowflakes

Hello friends,

Another Christmas card for the new challenge at Double D Challenges. The theme for this fortnight is “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!”.  This is our last challenge for 2018 and you can create / use anything SNOW related. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile and as always there is a lovely prize to win!

My inspiration from the picture is the trees, snow and white color. For a “frosty” feel I cut a snowflake border and added some sparkle with fairy dust glitter. I layered the border on turquoise designer paper and added two die cut trees with mirror tape. To embellish the tress is used wax cord bows, small roses and gemstones.  I finished off with more snowflakes, glitter snow on the trees and a die cut sentiment.
