Twirl, Spin and Leap …

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog. Team Darlene is hosting this challenge with the theme “Pink and White”. Please visit Double D Challenges  and DD_PinkandWhitesee more wonderful samples from our talented designers and join in the fun! We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. and a Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.

For my shabby card I created my background with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie powder  – I love the shimmering effect. This panel was then lifted from the card base with mirror tape for dimension. I then added the ballerinas and embellished each of them with a little pink rose and glitter. I finished off with a stamped sentiment, pink gemstones and satin ribbon.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

Ballerinas

The ballerinas, pretty in a row…

Ballerinas1

A rose on the tutu

Ballerinas2

The sentiment

Ballerinas3

A peep at the inside

Ballerinas4

Project details

White cardstock — Spellbinders Die D-Lites “Just Dance” (S3-294) — Cosmic Shimmer Pixie powder — Picket Fence Studios sentiment stamp “Sweet Dear Friend” — Pink gemstones — Satin ribbon– Roses.

That’s it from me today! I hope you like my card. If you do, please leave a comment – I love reading them. Have a great day and happy crafting.

Regards,

Amelia

How beautiful, Amelia!! Your die cut ballerinas remind me of my daughter when she was small. She LOVED ballerinas – this card would have been perfect for her!. Your design is just fantastic, great take on the Mood Board!!!

I need this cosmic shimmer pixie powder! If I could only use it to make a card like this one. Love the loops of ribbon to set off the ballerinas.
