Hello friends,
A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog. Team Diane is hosting this challenge with the theme “Rose Garden”. Be inspired by what you see, maybe it’s the colors, flowers, the lamp post or even the picket fence. Also use roses handmade, stamped, die cut or purchased. Please visit Double D Challenges and see more wonderful samples from our talented designers and join in the fun! We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. while a Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.
I decided to use the right bottom tile as inspiration for my card. I love the pretty white picket fence with the pink roses and the green foliage. I used designer paper for my background and the added the picket fence with the birdhouses with mirror tape for dimension. I glued two die cuts together for the fence and extended the one birdhouse pole for a better coverage of the card front. I finished off with a sentiment, a lace strip, a bow, leaves and lots of pink roses. A few gemstones are the final touches. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- A Bit More Time To Craft #93 (ends 06/15) – Anything Goes
- Scrapy Land Challenges #115 (ends 06/19) – Anything Goes with a die cut from a brand that Scrapy Land sells (Dies: Impression Obsession sentiment die “For You” (DIE383-C) — Poppy stamps die ” Leafy Sprig” (Style No. 1001) — Memory Box die “Tippington Vine” (Style No. 99299))
