Forest Friend

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog . Team Darlene is hosting this challenge with the theme “Begins with “M””. The team created beautiful cards to DD_BeginswithMinspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. And as always there is a prize for one lucky random winner!

I decided to use the moose as inspiration for my card. I stamped the image and then die cut it with the coordinating die. I painted the background with water-colour pencils, added some grass and then lifted the moose from the base card with mirror tape for dimension. I stamped the sentiment on a die cut oval. For interest I finish off with a few colourful wooden buttons.

I entered the following challenges:

Such a sweet little moose, beautifully colored. I love your layout here, and I love the die cut grass. And then those buttons are the perfect final touch. I’m smiling.

I do love a cute moose card and this one is definitely cute! I love that you added buttons. I have so many and never use them because of the bulk. Nice little peek at the inside, too!

If no one had their names under the cards and I had to guess which one was yours I would have failed. So different from your usual style, but it is fun to something different. I love the whimsy of this card and how the moose is peeking out.

This CAS card is so sweet. I love how you showed off the moose and made him the star. I have to remember to use some of the thousand buttons that I own, on a card like this one.
