I hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is about the new challenge at Double D Challenges with the theme “Birds/Nests/Birdhouses/Bird Cages”. For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog. Looking forward to see your creation!

I decided to create a shabby card in one of my favourite colour combo’s of pink, purple and kraft for this challenge. I used a shabby style designer paper as my background for the hanging bird cages. I added lots of leaves and roses to enhance the lovely image on the base layer. I finished off with a few clear bubble stones and a sentiment that overflow to the inside of the card. As the shabby style of cardmaking suits me more I really enjoyed to create this card. Hope you like it.
