Hello friends,
A clean and simple card to share today. My card features a die cut from Poppystamps “Bellina Butterfly Ribbon”. The flow of the ribbon and the butterfly are so beautiful that there is no need for much embellishments. I used my watercolor paint to highlight the butterfly and added dimension to the card by lifting the panel off the card base with mirror tape. I finished off with a few gemstones and a stamped sentiment.
I entered my card in the following challenges:

There are fabulous entries in the gallery so far and we’d love to see your creations. There is also a prize to be given out with a random draw. Hello friends,
Time for a new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room! This fortnight our theme is called ABC-123 and the challenge is to use the inspiration photo on The Shabby Tea Room blog to create a card or project. This week’s lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Paper Temptress! I was inspired by the chalk board and the lovely yellow sunflowers in the photo. I used a sentiment stamp from JustRite as the main focus on black paper. I distressed the edges with white craft paint for a chalk board effect. I layered the stamped sentiment, ink-pot and pen on a vellum banner and finished off with lots of sunflowers, twine, a butterfly and a yellow bow.
I entered my card in the following challenges:

Hello friends,
Sharing with you today my guest designer card for the Crafty Boots Challenge blog. What a wonderful opportunity to be featured on such a
lovely challenge blog – thanks so much Dionne and the Crafty Boots design team for inviting me. The theme of the current challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges is ‘Black and White’. Your project can be a card, an altered box, a handmade gift, an album, in fact anything you like just as long as it has a colour combo of black and white.
I decided to create a vintage/shabby themed card with layers of black and white designer paper and a gramophone die cut. To frame the gramophone I used a Spellbinders die “Regal Frame” – for me the old vintage and intricate pattern complimented the paper and gramophone so well. To complete the card I added a JustRite sentiment, paper roses and bows
Challenges entered:

Hello friends,
It is such a long time since I posted a card, time is just running away with me the last couple of weeks. We had a busy time at work and at home but I am glad to be back with a quick wedding card I created for a friend. As she likes the clean and simple style, I used an embossing folder for the background and added a metal heart, some satin ribbon, a few gemstones and two paper roses. I love how the fleur-de-lis pattern of the embossing folder compliments the metal heart. Well, as a shabby chic and vintage junkie, I just had to add roses somewhere on my card! The sentiment is from JustRite stamps.
I would love to enter my card in the following challenges:

Hello friends,
Another card to share today, featuring stamps from Hot Off The Press stamp set “Sweet Tweets”. I have this stamp set for a long time and never used it until a few weeks ago. Since then I have so much fun making cards with all the little “birdie” stamps in the set. For this card I used the bird house and a fancy swirl to create the foliage at the bottom. The image is colored with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and a few pink gemstones were added. A few pink paper roses and a bow completed the card. The sentiment is from JustRite stamps.
I would love to enter my card in the following challenges:
