We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. and a Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.

Falling Leaves

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog . Team Diane is hosting this challenge with the theme  “Orange and White only”. The team  created beautiful cards to DD_OrangeandWhiteinspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. And as always there is a prize for one lucky random winner!

I love to make cards with autumn colours and decided to use orange leaves on a white background. I used a swirly die cut for my background to give the idea of movement. I used my Prime watercolours to colour a piece of paper in light and dark tones of orange. The leaves are then die cut from the watercolour paper and adhered to the card with mirror tape for dimension. To finish off I added orange sequins and a sentiment. Hope you like my take on the challenge!

Hello friends,

I hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is about the new challenge at Double D hosted by Team Diane. The theme for this challenge is “Featured” and we want you to choose an DD_Featuredobject from the mood board and make it the ‘feature’ on your card. For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog.

For my card I used deer as my featured object. This idea comes from the inspiration photo right top panel in the last row. They are so adorable and it was great fun to put all the die cut parts together to let them come to life.  I made a colourful background with distress oxide inks, added a few pretty flowers, leaves and a little bow for a boho feel. To finish off I added a die cut sentiment. Hope you like my take on the challenge.

We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. and a Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.

I decided to use a pretty pink flamingo die cut to give my card a tropical “flavor”. I have this die cut for ages in my stash and think it is from a Cricut cassette. The Pink Hat

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog. Team Diane is hosting this challenge with the theme “Kentucky Derby Hat Inspiration”.  Be inspired by what you see DD_Hatson these hats, maybe it’s the colors, flowers even the horse. It does not have to be a hat! Please visit Double D Challenges and see more wonderful samples from our talented designers and join in the fun! We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. while a Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.

I decided to use the right bottom tile as inspiration for my Mother’s Day card. I love the combination of black and pink, so pretty. I used several layers of black and white cardstock, designer paper and some pretty lace as base for the pink die cut hat. I embellished the hat with die cut feathers, a small buckle, a rose and some glitter stones. I finished off with a stamped sentiment on a tag, bows, leaves and roses. A few hearts were the final touches.

Hope you like my take on the challenge.
