Zebra Chic

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I must share that Helen invited me to be part of her For Fun Challenges Design Team. What a wonderful opportunity to be part of this group of talented ladies and share ideas with them. Thanks for your warm welcome to let me feel at home.

This week at For Fun Challenges the theme is Patriotic Pride – lovely challenge to share things special about your place in the world with everyone. Come, join in the fun and let us all experience something of your part of the world.

As my country is South Africa I decided to showcase the wonderful wildlife our African continent is blessed with. One of my favourite animals is the zebra that roam the savannah fields of our national game parks and private game reserves. Their beautiful skin pattern is an inspiration for many fashion designers, artists and interior decorators throughout the world. To give the card an ethnic feel I created the background with mouldable foam and bronze metallic craft paint, added some beads and bronze craft wire.

I used the following:

Black and white cardstock
Jenni D (South Africa) stamp “Zebra”
BRS (South Africa) sentiment stamp OA10
Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad “Graphite black”
Mouldable foam
Dala metallic craft paint “Bronze”
Bronze craft wire

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you at the For Fun Challenges blog. Enjoy your day.

Greetings from South Africa,
