Lots of White

Hello friends,

Another Christmas card for the new challenge at Double D Challenges. The theme for this challenge is “Lots of White”. The team has created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile and as always there is a lovely prize to win!

As this is my last post before Christmas I am wishing all my followers and blog friends a wonderful holiday season, have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!.

I used the white and green colours in the tile as inspiration for my card. For my card I decided to add texture by using an embossing folder with small speckles for one layer. I then layered the wreath on the embossed background, the embellished the wreath with a silver bow and lots of silver gemstones – I love the glittery effect. For a dash of colour I added 2 small red birds. The die cut sentiment is made of several layers glued together for dimension.
