For My Mum

Hello friends,

A card for a special mother to share today. I decided not to use designer paper as background but strips of washi tape and a Spellbinders heart shape die cut. The watering can is from a Paper Sweeties die cut and stamp set “Showering You With Love”. I added a few tiny roses, leaves, gemstones, bow and a sentiment and all is done. I love the simplicity of the card although it still have the shabby chic look.

I would love to enter my card in the following challenges:

A Banner – Clean and Simple

Hello friends,

Once in a while I try my hand on a CAS card although it is one of the most difficult genres in card making for me to do.  I saw this sketch at the new challenge blog CAS[E] this Sketch Challenge and decided to  give it a go. The sketch:

Here is my take on the challenge. I used washi tape to make the banner and added a little bling flower. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

Regards from South Africa,
