I made Top 3 at Lili of the Valley Challenge #79 – A Sketch by Lena with my “Hello Cupcake” card.

My Victorian Splendour card won the following challenges:

 

I made the Top 3 again at Lili of the Valley Challenge #80 – Things with Wings and the card  also won a Top 3 Scoop at Pile it On Challenge #3  – Anything Goes. Also a personal favourite.

I won a Artist Choice Award from Chrissie Armstrong at her February Sundays with Chrissy Challenge #14 – It’s All About Love and I made the Top 3 Scoops at Pile It On Challenge #5 – Punch It!

 

I won at Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #46 – All in the Fine Print…

I made Top 3 at Delicious Doodles Challenge #15 with my shabby chic card

 

I made the Tea Time Terrific Top Three at The Shabby Tearoom Challenge Week #60 – Sweet Dreams with this card:

 

I made the Top 3 at Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #66 – Lots of Layers with one of my favorite cards.  This was also one of my Guest Designer cards for the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge blog and won a  Shining Top 3 badge at Simply Create Challenge #43 – Moms Sayings

   

I was awarded with a Top 3 blinkie from My Mom’s Craft Shop  Challenges #5 – To Die For…  and a Top 3 blinkie from The Crazy Challenge #67 – Pink and Green. I love the image and the colours.

 

This  guest designer card for Wild Orchid Crafts  was  such a pleasure to make and it did so well in the challenges. It was chosen as

      

I made it a second time as a Top 3 winner at My Mum’s Craft Shop Challenge  #7- Favourite Colours and I was chosen as the featured blogger on the Make It Monday Linky Party. I had so much fun colouring the adorable bears!

   

The first time I used my Tim Holtz rosettes die this card was chosen by Kerrie as one of the design team’s favourites at Make It Monday Linky Party #41 and at the Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC #85 the same card was the cream in the design team’s coffee (Honourable mention)

I was the winner of  The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Week #66  – Pink Lemonade and also get an invitation to be a guest designer for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Week #76

 

This card was a Top 5 pick at The Southern Girls Challenge #23 – Happy Birthday! 

 

I won a lovely prize with this card at The Fashionable Stamping Challenges #2 – Handmade Flowers  and I made the Top 3 at My Mum’ Craft Shop Challenge #19 – Summer Time

   

My “Simply Sepia” entry was chosen as  one of the Top 5 from 500 entries at  Paper Sundaes Challenge #88 – Anything Goes.

  

I made it a fourth time as a Top 3 winner at My Mum’s Craft Shop Challenges. The theme was All creatures great and small.

 

I was the runner-up at Papercraft Star Challenge #66. I won a lovely digital sheet from The House Across the Bay and a Quasar award blinkie.  This card also placed me in the Top 3 at Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #88 – Let’s see those Leaves and the Fab ‘n Funky Challenge # 94 – Fall colours

 

This Milly card was my lucky entry for the Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #104 – Happy Birthday – I was the random selected winner and  I made the Top 3 at Lollipop Crafts Challenge #54 – Embellish It 

 

  

I was for a second time the runner-up at Papercraft Star Challenge #66. I won a lovely digital sheet from The House Across the Bay and a Quasar award blinkie for this card created with a free vintage image from The Graphics Fairy

 

I made the Top 3 at Crafty Ann’s Challenge #53 with the theme “Floral Frenzy” with one of my favourite cards. I was delighted to win also the November “In the spotlight feature” at The Penny Black and More  Challenge blog with this card.

 

 

For my first Christmas card this year I got a honourable mention from The Shabby Tea Room Week #88 – Shabby Pastel Christmas  and a Top 3 position at Craft Your Days Away Challenge #33  – Embellishment Bingo

 

My little pink Christmas tree made with paper roses won the The Shabby Tea Room Challenge Week #91 – The Magic of Christmas, a Top 3 position at The Ribbon Reel Challenge #16  – Anything Goes (with Ribbon) and a Quasar award (runner-up) at the Papercraft Star Challenge #74  – A Tree!

 

 

I won the Glitter Geeks Challenge Week 29 – Happy New Year with my Masquerade card made with a vintage scrap from The Graphics Fairy and also got a honourable mention at The Shabby Tea Room Challenge  #49- A Colourful and Shabby New Year

    Please could you tell me how you get your flowers to stay on?
    I have trouble getting a lot of them to stick & stay!

      Hi Christine,

      Thanks for your kind comment. I use UHU glue for the flowers. Cover all the outside petals of the flower with glue and attached to card. Hope this help.

    Wat vir my werklik besonders is van jou kaartjies is dat jy ook die binnekant sorgvuldig beplan. Dit is baie min dat daar soveel detail in die binnekaartjie ook gaan.     I stumbled onto one of your cards & went to your website via Pinterest. I have to say your cards are absolutely the most beautiful, gorgeous, inventive I have ever seen! They are the #1 best of any I’ve seen made by anyone. Each one took my breath away. I just wish I had one tiny bit of your talent & I would be happy. You have been blessed with a God-given talent beyond any I’ve witnessed. You are truly an artist! Your cards should be framed & put in a museum, that’s how much I love them. I like the way you choose your colors & how you use them so creatively. The way you arrange your flowers are stunning! Thank you for sharing your work 🙂

    Your cards are truly works of art! I love the ones with a Victorian air to them. I wish I could make these someday! I’m sure it would take much experimenting! I can’t imagine getting a card as beautiful as these. Most definitely a keepsake for generations to come!

    Hallo Amelia,

    Ik vind je kaartjes altijd heel verzorgd en supermooi. Regelmatig smul ik van weer een heel ander kaartje ga zo door!! Aangezien het Zuid-Afrikaans
    veel van het Nederlands weg heeft heb ik het dan ook in het Nederlands getypt ;0.
