Hello friends,
Today’s post is about the new challenge at Double D Challenges with the theme “Black and White with a Pop of Color”. I am joining Team Darlene for this fun challenge. For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog. Looking forward to see your card!
I was inspired by the yellow sunflower in the photo. My card is in the clean and simple style and really easy to make. I used two strips of washi tape on the background layer to add interest to the card. I stamped the image and color the daisy in bright yellow and then lifted the top panel from the card base with mirror tape. I finished off with a black die cut sentiment and glitter on the flowers. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- Daisy Chain Challenges #10 (ends 07/31) – Floral
- Use Your Stuff Challenge #272 (ends 07/24) – Colour Splash!
- Stamping Sensations July Challenge (ends 07/31) – Anything with Flowers (Stamp: Crafty Individuals stamp (CI-385)
- Simply Papercraft Challenge #48 (ends 07/31) – Anything Goes
