Hello friends,
A new challenge starts today at Double D Challenges. Team Darlene is hosting this challenge with the theme “Wheels”. The team have created a bunch of beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. We have also a fun prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org.
This is also my last card for the Double D Challenge blog. To all of the Design Team ladies I enjoyed so much working with you and I will miss all of you dearly. Now onto the details of my card for the challenge. I used a forgotten die cutting set that I purchased last year . I die cut all the elements from white cardstock and used my watercolour pencils and distress inks to bring life to the different pieces. I assembled all the small pieces, then layered it on the background paper and hessian strip with mirror tape for depth and dimension. I finished off with a die cut sentiment. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- Crafts Galore Encore #102 (August) (ends 08/30) — Always Anything Goes
- A Perfect Time To Craft #8 – 2022 (ends 08/27) — Always Anything Goes
- Through The Craft Room Door 16 August 2022(ends 08/30) — Always Anything Goes
- The Corrosive Challenges #8 (August) (ends 08/31) — Anything Goes
- Pearly Sparkles Challenge #76 (ends 08/27) — Anything Goes

Amelia, this is adorable! Love how you made the truck look so old and seeing the dog waiting in the driver’s seat, makes me think of my daughter’s dog Royce. He loves to drive! This is just as sweet as can be!

Oh, Amelia, cutest truck with the pots of pretty flowers! It took me a minute to notice the dog in the cab. You know I love him! Your background paper, the inside… all perfect! I’m sorry you’re leaving the team just as I’m coming on, but I do understand. Sometimes you just have to let things go. Hugs!

This card reminds me of a lovely fall afternoon. Someone has just picked up some fall flowers to plant and the man’s best friend is waiting in the truck to help. Love it.

Adorable! I love your old rusty relic! There are actually 2 such trucks in my neighborhood, old time Cape Codders, one is for winter one for summer and one of them is more rusty than the other! I love how you have that sweet little pup waiting to go for a ride and all of those pretty posies. This is fun and super cute!
