Just To Say …

Hello friends,

Today’s creation is inspired by the new challenge at Double D Challenges. The theme is “St. Patrick’s Day” and with a lovely inspiration photo you can create anything St DD_StPatricksDayPatrick’s Day or use all or any of the colours green, white  and gold. (Neutrals added are also okay e.g. black, ivory, browns, grays). For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog, get inspired and link up your creation.

I decided to use the colours green, white and gold for my card.  I used green designer paper for my background and then layered an embossed brick panel on top of the base card with mirror tape. A green die cut wreath is my focal point with a cute little mouse holding a shamrock leaf as added interest. I finished off with a wax cord bow, gold pearls, and a die cut sentiment.

Your wreath is beautiful with the combination of greens against the embossed brick background really makes it pop. Love the little mouse carrying the clover…beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble Thing 1 “Go Green”; but don’t forget to share with our partner at Heart2Heart… In fact, they have waived their Close To My Heart requirement for this challenge only, and you have already “Put Your Green On”.
