Butterfly Ribbon

Hello friends,

A clean and simple card to share today. My card features a die cut from Poppystamps “Bellina Butterfly Ribbon”. The flow of the ribbon and the butterfly are so beautiful that there is no need for much embellishments. I used my watercolor paint to highlight the butterfly and  added dimension to the card by lifting the panel off the card base with mirror tape. I finished off with a few gemstones and a stamped sentiment.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

A close-up of the butterfly ribbon and sentiment

Regards,

Amelia

Such a fantastic CAS design and love the ‘splosh’ of colours behind the die-cut. Having everything else stark white really makes those colours jump off the card. So very glad you shared this with us at Happy Little Stampers!

My goodness, Amelia, I absolutely love your card. Its apparent simplicity took a lot of planning, I’m sure. That butterfly die-cut is amazing–so fragile and hovering perfectly over that lovely splash of watercolours. This is clean and simple at its finest, hinting at the feminine without being overtly so. Love it! Thanks so much for adding this to my Feminine Anything Goes challenge and linking up to our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
