All White

Hello friends,

Today we have a fun new challenge at Double D Challenges . The theme for this fortnight is “All White”. I love working with lots of colors on my cards and is always in the deep end with “white” challenges. For my creation I decided on a shabby card with texture, layering, embossing and a few embellishments. To make the birdie, wreath and leaves pop on the white embossed background I used mirror tape to give some dimension. For embellishments I added two bows and a little music tag to match the embossed music background.  To bring the little birdie to life a pearl necklace was the finishing touch. Hope you like my take on the challenge.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

A close-up of the bird, wreath and leaves

The sentiment

The music tag

A peep at the inside

No matter what the challenge you make it amazing every time, Amelia. I had a hard time with this one as I’m a color loving gal, too. Thank goodness for dies and embossing folders. This is so, so beautiful! I love birds and music themes together and you have all the perfect elements for this one. The staff on the tag is so cute!

Amelia, this is gorgeous. The music score behind the bird mounted on a wreath is perfect. The tag at the side carries the theme with the staff and the celebrate theme could be used for any occasion.Amazing design.
