There’s a new challenge up at the CASology Challenge blog and the cue word is “Weather”.
I was picked as the winner of CASology Challenge Week 188 with this card. That was such a surprise and then the cherry on top – Melissa asked me to be the guest designer for challenge 190. This is such an honor for me as I am not at all good with clean and simple!
I decided to use “a windy day” as theme for my card. I started by printing a sentiment on a white card panel. After masking the sentiment, I stamped a swirl to add some movement to match the falling leaves. I blended brown, yellow and orange watercolors on to card stock and then die cut the leaves from the water colored piece. After gluing the leaves to the swirl I lift the panel off the card base with mirror tape. Be sure to check out the CASology challenge and have fun creating your CAS design.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:
- Less is More Challenge #268 (ends 03/25) – What’s outside your window? (It is Autumn/Fall in South Africa!)
- Inspiration Destination Challenge #77 (ends 03/23) – Anything Goes
- Creative Card Crew Challenge #109 (ends 04/05) – CAS (Clean and Simple)
- Use your Stuff Challenge #215 (ends 03/28) – inspired by a quote! (I found this saying on the Internet and it is just perfect for our Autumn/Fall weather in the Southern Hemisphere)
Thanks, always, for the visit! Have a wonderful day and happy crafting.
