A Windy Day

Hello friends,

There’s a new challenge up at the CASology Challenge blog and the cue word is “Weather”.

 I was picked as the winner of CASology Challenge Week 188 with this card. That was such a  surprise and then the cherry on top – Melissa asked me to be the guest designer for challenge 190. This is such an honor for me as I am not at all good with clean and simple!

I decided to use “a windy day” as theme for my card. I started by printing a sentiment on a white card panel. After masking the sentiment, I stamped a swirl to add some movement to match the falling leaves. I blended brown, yellow and orange watercolors on to card stock and then die cut the leaves from the water colored piece. After gluing the leaves to the swirl I lift the panel off the card base with mirror tape. Be sure to check out the CASology challenge and  have fun creating your CAS design.
