Hello friends,
A new challenge starts today at Double D Challenges. Team Diane is hosting this challenge with the theme of “May flowers”. You can use any of the colors shown in the picture and flowers. The flowers can be stamped, handmade or purchased – such a beautiful and fun challenge. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. The prize to win for this challenge is a beautiful flower die and absolutely gorgeous!
I was inspired by the beautiful colors and of course the flowers in the photo. I painted some pink, purple and yellow watercolors on watercolor paper for my background. I die cut various leaves to created the strings of greenery for my flowers. The fun part for me was to arrange the flowers and wax cord bows. I finished off with a sentiment die cut from Penny Black and a few sequins. I really like the shabby outcome of this card.
I entered my card in the following challenges:
- Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #210 (ends 05/04) — Add A Die Cut

Look at those beautiful flowers cascading down your card front! Sigh… Interesting and lovely how you have your watercolors running down the background, so perfect with the flowers. Pretty details with the sequins. I don’t know why the shabby edges always look so feminine, but they do. You always wow me, Amelia!
