Peeking Santa Bear

Hello friends,

Another Christmas card for the new challenge at Double D Challenges. The challenge is hosted by Team Diane and the theme is “Santa Hats”. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. As always there is also a lovely prize to win!

I decided to create a cute Christmas card for this challenge. I used  a neglected curved stitch die to create a raised background with mirror tape. I then cut, colour and glue all the pieces together for the adorable peeking Santa bear. The bear was placed between the two curved edges and the fur and pom-pom of the hat were covered with glitter gloss. Unfortunately the glitter is not showing on the photo. I added red gem stones for berries and a few glitter stars. I finished off with a die cut sentiment. Hope you like my take on the challenge.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

A close-up adorable peeking bear between the curved edges

The sentiment

A peep at the inside

Well how stinkin’ adorable is this? I love what you have done with that little bear die set, and using the curved die cuts really make his pop. Beautiful patterned papers too, they add so much to the design. And the addition of the little stars is the perfect final touch.
