Peeking Santa Bear

Hello friends,

Another Christmas card for the new challenge at Double D Challenges. The challenge is hosted by Team Diane and the theme is “Santa Hats”. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile. As always there is also a lovely prize to win!

I decided to create a cute Christmas card for this challenge. I used  a neglected curved stitch die to create a raised background with mirror tape. I then cut, colour and glue all the pieces together for the adorable peeking Santa bear. The bear was placed between the two curved edges and the fur and pom-pom of the hat were covered with glitter gloss. Unfortunately the glitter is not showing on the photo. I added red gem stones for berries and a few glitter stars. I finished off with a die cut sentiment. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
