Soar …

Hello friends,

Time for a new challenge at Double D Challenges. I am joining Team Darlene for this challenge with the theme “Stripes and Dots”. Please visit the Double D Challenge blog to see more wonderful samples from Double “D”s talented designers. We have a prize to give away to one lucky player which will be chosen by Random.org. A Top Creative Winner and Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team.

I like the black stripes and dots of the teapot and bowl from the mood board and used that as inspiration for my card. I layered the lovely stamped bird-cage on the polka dot and striped designer paper with mirror tape for dimension. I added a cute black cat and a little bird for interest. For a splash of color I embellished the card with pink roses, green leaves, gemstones and a strip of floral washi tape. I finished off with a die cut sentiment and some glitter on the roses. Hope you like my take on the challenge.
